Since I'm not very married to this idea, I just poorly drew it. An idea is that your 4 input arrows, instead of being stationary reacting to oncoming arrows, fell down on a long string of arrows laid out. Okay, honestly, I don't know how this would work. The red soul in Undertale is basic bullet hell, so here it's basic DDR. Of course, this doesn't take any inspiration from how the Red heart works in game, but sort of does as in it is the most basic form of its genre. Very basic, just normal Stepmania or DDR. That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! (animated) I have concepts for what most of these would do, and have animated and drawn a few of them. All of the different soul types would still be functional and apply. So recently, I've been wondering what Undertale would be like if instead of being a bullet hell in the fight sequences, it was something like DDR or Stepmania.
